I just got in from a brisk and sunny, 35ºF morning ride. What's not to like? You just have to dress for the cold. And I don't have to ice my bug juice. I love pushing myself to the edge going up the rollers and not sweating at all. I've never felt so alive. Its just awesome to hear the birds singing. 48 miles and maybe a dozen cars passed by.
But California does have nicer scenery.
