It does look like a fun bike to ride , when i get on my Carbon bikes all i want to do is hammer. I could use a fun intown bike, yea it looks like a good early summer project.
I take this thing on group rides all the time. It's actually pretty fast - I can keep up if the speeds don't get above the low 30's or run into any stupid steep hills (can actually go up some pretty good climbs though).
Might also want to frame saver the frame if you get one.
