I'm a well-known nobody. My daily commute is 11 miles = 17.7 KM, one way. I don't even bother to eat or drink first or during.
When we have all-company meetings (only once or twice a year), I ride to the convention center, which is 54 km away. We get the rest of the day off after those so it's a nice metric century with a breakfast break in the middle (convention center rubber eggs, thermally-fused potato things and carbon sausages, if you can call that breakfast).
