We loaded up the Galaxy and took a nice full two week vacation every summer, usually to a lakeside cottage in northern Michigan. We went to New York for the World's Fair in 1965, I think, I was just a little kid at the time. My parents would rather stay home than camp, and our bikes never went anywhere with us. We were the AAA poster family of the 1960s.
