Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

It really depends on the neighborhood how much you can leave on a bike for any length of time. Sometimes I take the saddle bag, light(s), and computer with me; sometimes I leave everything.

The Dinotte doesn't take that long to remove completely, even taking the battery pack -- but leaving the battery bag, in the AA models. Stick a finger under the O-ring, and it comes off. It's almost as quick as unclipping a regular bike light.
