Serial Number Doesn't Match Receipt
About two months ago I bought a new bike from a reputable dealer,
I just went to register the bike online and checked my receipt. It for a 54 cm frame (medium) but the bike I bought us a 51cm (small) and the serial number on the frame doesn't match the one on the receipt. I don't remember the salesman checking the number when he brought it up on the computer and printed out the receipt. It was the last small one in stock and I suspect it's an honest mistake.
So my questions is, how important is it to have a receipt with the actual serial number that matches your bike? Should I go back to the store and ask them to correct it?
