First tandem: Kent dual drive Beach cruiser vs Diamondback Wildwood
Okay, I've read a fair bit on the "I'm getting a first tandem" front. I've read the reviews of the Kents and the reviews of the Diamond backs. I was wondering if anyone here has had the chance to do direct bike to bike comparison. I can get a Kent for $350 CDN or a Diamondback for $650 (both brand new - finding used tandems in the Toronto Area is not easy). I would mostly be using this for me and my daughter to cruise around on (maybe once or twice a month)
The next question, I am 6'3" and both of these frames are 19" in the front. Will sizing be an issue? Will these tandems be big enough for me?
