Bibs can be great but make sure, if you're a guy, to get some that are cut fairly low across the front and the straps have enough give so when it's time to do your business you can just pull the front down otherwise you'll have to take your jersey off to remove the straps. Last summer while I was riding by a school in a small rural Illinois town when I spotted the welcome green hue of a porta-potty by the ball fields. I removed my jersey & shoulder straps and started the business at hand when I felt sharp pain in my right shoulder. I looked over & found I was being stung by several wasps or hornets--I apparently invaded their turf. Don't know if anyone saw me but I imagine I made a silly sight running from the porta potty with my straps flying and bare-chested.
