Ignore the holes in the number sheet. Pins pierce: paper, jersey, jersey, paper. Don't skip going back through the paper before you lock it. Pin near the four corners, and the middle of any edges that lead into the wind.
Most bibs #s go on one side or the other, so I align the bottom edge of the number with the side seam of the jersey, below the arm pit, above the pockets.
