Many moons ago I was into boxing- I did not have a 6 pack- it was more like a 12 pack. It was solid muscle but still a bit prominent. When I stopped boxing- I still kept up a lot of exercise- but the "Extra" work on the stomach muscles did not continue. Now- many moons later- I am 150lbs at 5'6"- have calf muscles and legs that anyone would be proud of- Can climb hills allday long- but keep hitting the belly with my thighs on the fast downhills.
Cycling alone will not do it- but a general fitness regime at the gym will help.
