Today I rode my mtb bike at 28.9mph. I tried really hard to push it through 29mph but just couldn't.
I do feel the "burn" in the legs. This is the highest speed I've ever attained on flat road.. Consider my bike is 30lbs and I am only 5'7 145lb I believe it's quite a good speed...
The speed limit on the road is 25, don't know if they would give me a speeding ticket if I got caught.
What's the fastest you've riden on a mtb on flat roads?
