I should have expected that.

Bike Religion has actually helped with this precise problem in the past so normally, I'd just head over to him again. However, the root cause is a wheel that is a little bent. Couple that with my adventures with Amtrak/Metrolink/Coaster/buses/cars and I find that I have to adjust the wheel rather frequently to keep it moderately straight.

So I could head over to Bike Religion after lunch but I fear that by the time the week is over, I'd be straightening the rear wheel on the side of a road again and (attempting) to adjust the brakes to the "new" position of the wheel.

Now, I didn't know that he's willing to order parts so I will try asking him how long the item will take to arrive.

Question for Everyone:
Is a bicycle wheel supposed to be able to stand up to repeated loadings on trains/buses/car racks without getting off-center? I'm not sure if I'm even supposed to have to keep re-centering the wheel.

Now, off to Bike Religion and to ask him that question too.
