That's a fit thing. Some women are more comfortable on women's specific bikes, some on mens. I'd assume some men would be more comfortable on women's bikes but we're too manly to actually try riding them.
If a men's bike fits here there's no reason to go to a women's bike. It's not like the old day when women's bikes were designed to allow the rider to ride while wearing a skirt.
