Unless you're really fond of the feel of full-body lycra (and if you are, ain't nothing wrong with that), I'd say just save the skinsuits for high-level TT events. Yeah, I'll admit that they're theoretically pretty cool, but I'm not about to do weekend rides in one. From both practical and æsthetic standpoints, my personal inclination would be to stick to shorts and jerseys.
