I think you might be getting caught up in the whole TSS thing. What you are concerned about is adaptation, and although TSS is a useful metric for some things at the end of the day it is pretty meaningless.

That being said, if you raised your FTP, your intensity should go up to accommodate the change. If you were at 95% FTP on the 60 min ride, you should stay there and your TSS will remain the same for that ride.
