I ride mine to church and music practice all the time and don't make any special effort to modify my clothing. I have ridden in slacks, shirt and tie and also shorts, sandals and a T shirt. I wouldn't subject anyone to seeing me in tight fitting stretchy clothes, especially for such a short ride.
