Only the current Champion is allowed to wear the Champion's jersey in competition. Past Champions don't wear the jersey. Ever. I have Sock Guy socks with World Championship stripes. Should I turn them inside out? The Champion gave a few jerseys to people he likes, not you. Did he expect them to put in glass display case or to wear? Ask the guy who won the jerseys. He earned them, not you. I doubt he has a problem with them being worn.
