. Not to mention, I ride duathlons too, and I will be using this bike for that purpose in the future. So if I can cut down on the rolling resistance, it'd be a plus. But I do want to keep the bike so that I can go on rock trails and grass (etc) at the spur of the moment too.
The Vittorias are great tires, light, ride nice, but wear down very quickly. I wouldn't recommend them for everyday use. I would instead look at something like a Panaracer Pasela in 32 width, it does fine on dirt trails and grass, as well as pavement.
