You might want to look into supplementing with some Soy Protein powder (shakes).
As of now, I'm using a Naturade Veglife Protein powder (blend of soy, pea and rice proteins) as well as a MLO Brown Rice Protein powder, depending on the day. I've used soy protein by itself before but I didn't notice as much of a difference as I do with the Veglife. I usually make a fruit / green smoothie every morning for breakfast with protein powder.
