TdF blog from cyclotourist following each stage...

George Christensen is a cyclotourist who's been riding each stage along with the Tour for many years. He's self-supported and camps out only in free locations along the route each day.

He writes an email most days and sends it to his email list.

I've recently started forwarding these emails to a blog for him.

George is interesting in a few ways. He's 55+ and has been cyclotouring around the world every year all summer for 30+ years.

He's a bike messenger in Chicago each winter, pulling in the big bux in terms of messengering.

He also attends most of the famous film fests each year and rides to Cannes most years. He sends out daily email reports from these fests as well.

He's a good writer and observer and includes the local culture/background as well in his reports.

It seems like as good of Tour culture/local-scene coverage as anything out there---probably among the better.

Check it out at http://georgethecyclist.blogspot.com.
