You can do it, but you'll have a few things to think about..one, you
have vertical drops, so no clean way of tensioning the chain..you can
use a singulator, or even an old derailleur to take up the chain slack..
you can also calculate the 'magic combo' of front and rear sprockets so
that you don't need a tensioner (may even have to factor in a
half-link) .. that's what I did with my Jetstream XP.. on the JetXp though, I
installed a Schlumpf so had some leeway in what ultimate gear ratio I
was going to get..
