Hello,

All the big sprinters drop out by the 2nd set of large mountains if not first. Does anyone know who has the record for being the heaviest to finish the tour?

Any Clydes out there that completed any/all the Pre tour rides that do the exact leg of the race either the day of(leaving at 5 am I guess) or the day before. Years ago, I read about the rides that do the exact same legs. I can't imagine as clyde getting up those mountains. Took me over a month to acclimate to the hills of SF( I lived on the gnarliest) and longer to really do the mountains...never did Mt. Diablo.

I would love to hear the experiences of any Clydes doing those types of rides or in the Alps etc.
