You've pinched a nerve, either in your neck or in your wrist. An orthopedist or osteopath should be able to sort you out - a bit of physiotherapy should set you right. My mother has arthritis in her neck that causes the same problem. She has a set of stretches she does to take the pressure off the nerve.

I'd suggest a chiropractor, but I get the impression they are not nearly as well regulated in the US as in Canada . I trust my chiropractor with everything, but then, he had to pass more exams than my GP did...
