Im gonna agree with the wheel truing AND TENSIONING. I do this myself, as I put down the money for the equipment last year. But, i personally have 3 useable bikes, and two other wheelsets for a bike that needs a frame (oops). Plus my girlfriends bike: 6 sets of wheels! So the <$100 i put into truing stand and tensionometer was more than worth it...for me.

Not a bad idea to get brakes checked too, brakes are important!
