Go see a back specialist or a neurologist. I had sciatic symptoms with excruciating pain in my legs and a variety of numbness and tingling running down to my toes.

Went in for the MRI came out with a date for surgery.
I had a 3.8cmX1.6cmX1.8cm primary neuro fibroma type 2 (NF2). It was my spinal cord from the L4-L5 border to the L5-S1 border. It was occluding 95% of my spinal column. All the nerves were wedged into the side of the intradural space. My neuosurgeon peeled that baby out all in one piece.

I was off the percoset, vicadan, vioxx, and some muscle relaxant cold turkey.

I know your aware of the exact problem your wife has but go see a specialist.

Get one of those seats with a channel down the center and stretch stretch stretch.

Good luck.
