The area of Spain that you're from caught my attention. I have a couple of albums from José Ángel Hevia, a bagpiper from Asturias. In the liner notes for the tune "Barganaz" from his album, Tierra de Nadie, he wrote of being a cyclist before he was a piper:

When I was twelve my bagpipe master said to me "It's either the bicycle or the bagpipe." That's how my career in competitive cycling ended. I went on riding as a hobby, but less and less, since going out on a bike from the Maliayo Valley in any direction always means going uphill...
