hmm, its probably alright... my guess would be flex in the crank set / bottom bracket is causing the chain to either engage the teeth of the chainring at an odd angle or touch the front derailleur cage causing the noise when you are really pedaling hard. Of course if you want to be safe you can always ask the mechanic at your LBS to take a look at it before the 100 mile tune.
