I'm not saying I know anything but I have a bike with all 1/8 Dura-Ace and another with 3/32 Dura-Ace cranks and chainring and 3/32 Phil cog/lockring and I'm pretty sure they all qualify as "true track" stuff. Just saying, I believe that although most track racers, keirin etc.. use 1/8, 3/32 is also acceptably track worthy. Not sure whether or not NJS requires 1/8 but all the NJS certified comanies sell them.. My 2 cents.
