Omfg. I got stung by something BIG (I never actually saw it, but I sure felt it) on the ride home. It hit me right in the lip.
Luckily, I was only about a mile from home. I rode most of that mile with my left hand over my mouth. I couldn't believe how bad it hurt for the first five minutes or so. Then it almost didn't hurt at all, but my mouth swelled up pretty big. Now (a little over an hour later) it hurts again, but the gin and tonics have taken the edge off
My boyfriend was freaking out because he's allergic to stingy insects, but I'm okay. I'm just a little superstitious because the last time I got stung (August 23, 2000) was a couple hours before I found out my grandparents had died in a car accident
