I can do some simple stuff, and I'd like to try more complicated things, but I'm scared of really screwing something up. I do have another bike to use if I do screw something up and I need to take my main ride into the shop, but I so dread having to use my old POS bike that I'm hesitant to do anything major myself.
I've started practicing on the POS bike, taking things apart and such, because I know I should really learn these skills. (I really don't care if I mess up my old bike.)
