And that reminds me too of Dave Aldana - - AMA Grand National flat track racer in the 70s. When he didn't crash big, he'd win big. He had one of the most storied rookie seasons as an AMA Expert Pro, If you watch On Any Sunday, there are a few good snippets of him that typify his style.
