Lip Protection

The last two years on my bike trips I've started having trouble with my lower lip getting toasted, after a 9 day trip last summer it was hamburger. I had bought some stuff along the way when I felt it getting bad and that soothed it some.

This year has been similar and after a 5 day trip last week I'm hurtin (not quite hamburger lip) but wanting to head out for another 10 days or so next week into Oregon back country.

Any suggestions for extreme lip protection from the sun? I have some zinc oxide that I've used a couple of times while road riding (forgot it on the expeditions) but it seems to go away fast. I would like something that applies like chapstick (used on last trip) but has some major SPF protection.

Thanks,
Bruce
