I too use Fenix L2D as a bicycle headlight and can attest to that model's brightness. It is very nice to have a high-quality, long burning flashlight that uses only 2 AA batteries. On bright the light runs for over 2 hours, on low it burns for 50+ hours. If you camp, this light is great and if used the the diffuser it serves well as a general area light too.
