Pretty much , when ever I roll my bike I hear a loud squeak in the rear hub. Intermittent when I ride the bike... Its quite loud and a squeaky type noise. Could be nothing more than the rubber dust cover on the non drive side sqealing as the hub rotates against it. Try prying it away from the hub and rubbing a dab of grease on the lip.
rule out the smple posibilities first.
And no, they are not sealed bearings. Good old cup and cone.
