We don't have goat heads here in Canuckistan so regular Marathons should do everything I need them to do.

I installed a pair on my Kuwahara Cascade about a month ago and could not be more pleased with them... the 26 by 1.5 tyres give a great ride at 100 psi on that lugged steel frame and I rode 82 wonderful miles last Sunday on them.

My Trek 7500 is one of the most rigid bikes I have ever owned so the 700:28 tyres at 100 psi make the ride a little harsher (but not at all unpleasant) so I'm thining I will dial them back to 90 psi to see if that helps.

Despite riding home into a headwind last night the average speed on my commute was nearly 5 kmh faster than usual and am sure the reflective sidewalls made more than a few drivers do a double take.
