Bar end shifters require a minimum Inside Diameter (ID) of slightly less than .75". Measure this on the bar. If the ID is smaller, you might be able to machine the ID out to .75" if the the OD is large enough to leave sufficient material thickness after machining. I did the same thing to some trekking bars. I used a .75" hole saw and machined out the ID.

If you are talking carbon bars then not so good. Steel bars will be a rough go. Aluminum is pretty easy.

Take some measurements on the bar and see if machining them is a possibility.
