As the first replier suggested, you probably want to talk with your physician about this. It's difficult over the internet to offer constructive advice with the limited information people give.

I disagree with your philosophy. You should know that there are several treatable complications of pancreatitis. You do not want to be sitting around thinking, "Oh well," without the appropriate work-up.

Of course your symptoms may have nothing to do with pancreatitis at all - all the more reasons to discuss this with your primary care physician.
