Where have I been without a fixie? It was wonderful. The smooth acceleration and overall control of the bike is outstanding, and the pure simplicity of the bike. For instance, no messy gears, only one brake could be run up front, one simple chainring, and I could go on. I was almost tempted to sell my trek fuel for a fixie.
