I'm confused, that sounds like what I rode this morning:

Saratoga Heights -> Right to Pierce
Pierce -> Left to Mt Eden

I'd actually missed the left this morning, not used to descending on the road bike, in the hoods, I am fearful of grabbing a bunch of brake. I overran by about 1/8 of a mile and turned around to get right onto Mt Eden.

All in all, those hills still kicked my ass... can't wait 'til Monday again
