yea, well my 888's are 04 version, i really like external adjustability this is why im not happy with my 888r's i was told i could pay 300$ and get the second dial on the top of the left leg, to get 888r adjustability.
also shivers are tough as hell with good adjustability, and are now discontinued in all places except italy where they are manufactured, getting a hold of them would be very hard...
personally i like the shivers the most, then the fox DH's...oh and im not rich, well my family is not i just live at home and have a good paying job
anyways next season i hope to be using this bike for 20+ drops, gaps etc, also ski hills and stuff, whistler and sun peaks, not to interested in DH (competitions anyway) right now but i have always had interest in it...
