A person is smooth when they own 48's and don't bend them regularly or easily. If you damage 48 spoked rims then you are not the right person for 36 spoke rims. The more you weigh the smoother you have to be for 36's.

YES: URBAN MYTH! Mags are made of Nylon not plastic, they do not 'melt' in the oven really, they are injected molded and when they dry they are pretty much set.

Old original stuff may sell well on eBay, but no serious rider uses mags except the few that know the limitations and do it anyway for fun. Occassionally you will see Hoffman run a mag wheel just because he can.
