So, here is my first contribution.

Some questions:

Please tell us your age.

1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride? 58

2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older? NO

3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any? I lost a step when I turned 30. But I think I'm getting "faster" now, and I sure as hell don't thing I've slowed down since then.

4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life? Started riding in 1984. Started getting kind of serious in 1993. And got pretty much real serious in 2002.

5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides, commute, tour, race? Road Bike. One week-long ride each summer (Wisconsin last, Colorado next). Several one day or multi-day rides also, (Hotter 'n Hell Hundred, Firecracker 100, RAGBRAI [two days of rain]).

6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage? As often as I can, weather and work permitting. Live in North Missouri. 2025 miles so far in 2004.

7. Do you do any other type of physical activities - weight lifting, skiing, running, etc.? Weight training sporadically, although I'm trying to get real serious about it; running rarely, although I'm trying to get into it for the winter months.

Perhaps you might indicate your age on your reply??
