Huffy is a worthless piece of crap company. That's the bottom line. You want the truth? There is no bike of theirs that is worth owning - whether you like them or not - they do ZERO for bmx and pushing the sport or the industry.
People bag on Haro all the time... Let's face it, Haro makes Mercedes class bikes when compared to Huffy.
Any company that sells bikes, at all, within a department store is not a company that you should look at. But, Huffy is the forerunner in joke bikes. After a hundred years in the bicycle business, they are finally making a couple of bikes worth owning for beginners. But, the reality is that Huffy is in it for the money first, and riding last. If they want to make their product better, they will wait until some serious company invents it, then steal it a year or more later to put on their bikes... and do it wrong.
They are not helping our sport by being a part of it other than putting dangerous bikes on the market and selling them like they are good and safe.
STORY: I saw a kid that was incredible. He was riding a Huffy and it was scary looking at the pile of crap bike every time he rode... but he did get good on that bike. So, about the third time I saw him ride he came down from a no footer as he usually did, clean, and the frame snapped in half and the kid broke his arm.
The bike didn't crack, or start wobbling - it just snapped.
This is what huffy brings to bmx, broken bones, greed, and zero inovation. Exactly what America is about I guess.
