My general experience has been positive in both circumstances.

Bikes with entry to mid level components are easier to sell as complete bikes because the compnents are almost owrthless when sold seperatly.

bike with high end compnents can more profitable if parted out...sometimes.

I have feeling part of the problem woth your bike is price. somethingl ike that needs to priced at least 50% or more below MSRP.
