I broke my bike!

So a few days ago, I noticed that the mount for my red blinkie was cracked. Since it is metal, I purchased JB-Weld and proceeded to repair it.

While I was riding into work yesterday, the blinkie fell out of the holder within the first 1/4 mile. I put it back on and everything was still good. About 2 miles later, I heard a small pop. I stopped at the next stop light and found the mount for my blinkie was hanging by just a thread of metal! I tore it off and rode on into work without the blinkie.

Monday morning, I'm going to attempt to JB-Weld it again. This time, I am going to try to scratch the metal before reattaching the mount.

I guess no riding the commuter bike to work until I get that fixed. I hope this next time it will hold.
