The reason I pose the question is just that. To ask the question. Not sure I believe it , either. So why does Nike make "Nikwax." On the bottle it says this Tech Wash stuff, revitalizes the breathability of the fabric along with it's impermability . We all do know with time, laundering removes the ability of Gore Tex to resist water. That is pretty well accepted by all.
