While I can't brag and say I eat 5000 calories on a hard day, I generally haven't been hungry on rides unless I'm out for over an hour, and it's actually not usually 'til I've been gone 90mins or more. I agree more for breakfast might be better, but might need more info about when you're doing your rides. I only have major problems with hunger if I haven't eaten properly and then try to do a major ride. Like someone else said, you've got to feed the beast before you can expect it to work for you. Well, they didn't say that much, but at least the feed the beast part.
