Hi. Just a brief break from work. I got to reading these boards looking for advice about fixed gears. Finally decided to join it.

I work at the LoC, freelance researching. Perks include working anywhere. Perks do not include getting paid on time.

Borrowed a friend's bike this summer while he was out of town, rode it from home (1 block N. of Walter Reed) to the hill and back, and it reminded me of biking in Boston, and how it opened up the city. I've decided to go whole hog. Not only got a Bianchi Pista last week, but I've bought a Centurion frame and mean to build it up. Not like I know how. But learning on the fly is awesome. If anyone can tell me anything about Chain Reaction in Shaw, I'd be obliged.
