I'm converting an old Schwinn roadbike that has 27" tires into a fixed gear and I'm not sure if these wheels will work on it:

i tried looking a couple other places and some threads said they wouldn't fit but all the threads that had to do with SS or fixed gears said there were fine.....
so what's the verdict?
