He's selling a $2,000 recumbent that I've never heard of, but doesn't have a picture in the ad. I see this a fair bit with higher-end bicycles of all kinds. People are experts, and they try to sell to experts and forget that their potential buyer may not know a top tube from an inner tube. They need to sell the sizzle, so to speak- include the technical details, but make it appeal to people, whether they know what the technical details mean or not.
